At long last, we are pleased to announce that we are finally finishing beta and going live on April 22nd!
While my original intent was to go live several months ago, a number of very talented individuals joined my team and the server grew into something larger and more brilliant than I had originally thought possible! This undeniably slowed the launch as we began to mesh our ideas and the outcome is something that we hope the NWN2 role-playing community is going to thoroughly enjoy!
We are very excited to finally be seeing this server go live! DM_AXE and I have worked especially hard to create a beautiful, believable and breath-taking fantasy world that holds true to established Forgotten Realms lore and we hope that players enjoy exploring the world as much as we have enjoyed creating it!
In anticipation of going live, we have performed a full player wipe of our server vault and database. To express our gratitude to those who have helped us beta test, we are going to allow each player to keep one new character that they create between now and the time we go live. If at the time of going live they have submitted a background for their character, we will happily allow them to continue playing them as we move forward! One way for us to say thank you to each of our beta testers is to give them a little head start! (And be sure, this is only one way that we intend to thank you!)
On the weekend of April 22nd, the server will come down briefly as we apply the last update which will include Mistledale and a full re-staging of the server files. Furthermore, on April 22nd when the server goes live, we will also be rewarding double experience from kills for the first week!
Once again, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to those who have helped us beta test and we hope you have enjoyed our server, and continue to do so!
